Something with water...

Emmy loves sticking her hands in water. When I get a glass of water and I'm holding her I have to be careful or her wonderfully slimy little paws just plunge right in. That's because her Dad showed her that delightful trick. He's so good with her. They were having so much fun and getting so wet. What a blast. I was laughing SO hard! (That explains the really poor quality in camera work - sorry.) There is just something about watching a baby discover and enjoy something new! Emmy had the BEST time out watering the lawn with her Daddy.

The Power of the Foley Girls

So it turns out that Foley girls are not as hard to come by in this family as they used to be. Up until Emmy was born there was only 1 girl out of 6 grandkids. So Emmy came and then on the 24th beautiful baby Maggie Brooke came to Doug and Jenny. Here is #3!

So now I'm convinced that Foley girls are going to take over the world!!!!!!!!

We've got #1: Kate. Future President of the United States of America, or whatever she wants because she's a genius that will be able to follow her dreams and be whatever she wants! Then Comes #2: We've got plans for her to be an Olympic Volleyball player; we'll call it "International Relations" if you will. ;) Seriously, look at those legs and her huge feet...she's destined to be an athlete!

I guess we'll wait for a bit to decide what little Maggie will be, but I'm sure that she'll whoop her little brothers into shape...so maybe something in the military?

(No offense to all of my sweet Foley nephews. We love you, too!)

Best of Buds

It has been a while since our last post. There's been a lot going on. We've been dealing with some sad stuff with some of our friends here, and then we were out of town for a wedding and some much needed time off before a long school year begins again on Monday. Here are a bunch of random videos to satiate our lovely readers for the time being.

Emmy has discovered that she has one of the same loves as her daddy does...dvds! She like to pull them off the shelf and eat them, he likes to collect and watch them.

Daddy and Papa Cook let Emmy play in the sink at my parent's house. You can tell be her delighted face that she was REALLY enjoying it!

This is my little curly-girly niece, Jaden. Jadey is my brother Evan's spunky 2 year old. She LOVES 'her baby Emerson,' and decided to sing her a song to show her love!
