I about DIED (seriously) when I realized that her piggy tales were gone, but I think the end result is pretty cute! 

Now it just looks like a funky short a-line bob.

Dancing B-Day Card

This is one of Greg's birthday cards. It was wisdom from Gandhi and Emmy really got into the Indian style music. She couldn't even stop herself. The dancing comes from deep within her soul. (And her dad. Definitely not me!)

Crawling...no!!!!!

Am I a bad mom if I'm a little sad that my baby started crawling?

It's not that I don't want her to develop normally, it's just that I don't want her to grow up and not be my baby! (This is feeling a little irrational so I'm sure that's how it sounds, too.)

She is SOOOO cute! She has been fairly effective moving around by putting her hands down and just swinging her bum around, or scooting in reverse. Afew weeks ago she started rocking back and forth on her hands and knees and doing the elephant thing with her legs straight and her bum in the air, but yesterday she figured out that she had to move her hands to go forward. The thing that got her going was trying to get to the tv and a PlayStation.

We just ordered this camera from Costco.com so we should have some fun videos up in 3-5 business days. (You know how that goes.)

We realize that our lives will never be the same! She's already started pulling books of the bookshelf and eating our shoes...ugh. At least she hasn't discovered the dvd shelf...yet.
